An active President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bitag Media Unlimited Inc. (BMUI), and Divergent Concept Marketing Incorporated (DCMI) which employs executives and staff of less than a hundred people.    

Aside from being an executive, Ben is an active volunteer and advocate of a non-governmental organization ipaBITAGmo Inc. (IBMI-NGO). 

Despite his full schedule, he still finds time to host and produce his issues and analysis daily shown on television and digital; weekly show investigative documentary reality and; daily investigative public service show. 

Education and Relevant Experiences
Ben Tulfo is a graduate of Journalism. In the mid-80s until the late 90s, he went to the United States and worked in the healthcare industry specializing in quality facility management and effective revenue management. He then pursued specialized executive schooling. 

In 1996, Ben came back to the Philippines and became an executive of the Innovated Technologies Unlimited (ITU). He was assigned as the country’s exclusive marketing executive of extrusion technology exclusively for the Philippine market.   

Advocacy 
Simultaneously, Ben devotes his time and service as a volunteer-advocate for a non-governmental organization, IBMI-NGO whose advocacy is compassion, empowerment and action.   

Ben believes in people’s participation by initiating action, governance oversight calling for transparency, accountability, and culpability of those serving the government institution. His BITAG Media Unlimited Inc. (BMUI) is the media partner of IBMI-NGO.

CRIME BUSTER

Ben Tulfo’s dedication to public service and justice drives his focus on crime busting and prevention. Through his investigative journalism and media programs, he actively exposes criminal activities such as illegal operations, abuse, exploitation, and negligence by those in power. In addition, Ben Tulfo exposes scams, frauds, and unethical business practices to protect consumers and finally hold wrongdoers accountable.

SOCIAL JUSTICE

Ben Tulfo’s investigative and call to action programs including his media platforms address grievances of all social classes. From marginalized and ordinary citizens, to working class and business groups – he helps them seek justice or solutions to their grievances.

ANTI-CORRUPTION

Many government and private sector irregularities involve corruption, misuse of funds, or abuse of authority. By investigating and exposing such irregularities, Ben Tulfo helps to combat corruption advocating for transparency, accountability and public trust.

  1. Republic Act No. 9995 Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act of 2009.

  2. Republic Act No. 9208 Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003.

  3. Republic Act No. 12010 Anti-Financial Account Scamming Act (AFASA)

This is a landmark piece of legislation, specifically designed to combat the growing menace of cybercrime and financial account scams. The law was passed on July 20, 2024. It demonstrates the proactive approach of the Philippine government in safeguarding the financial system and protecting individuals from the increasingly sophisticated tactics employed by cybercriminals.

Payroll robbery  and bank heist (midnight heist, afternoon heist, morning heist) of the infamous Alvin Flores Group's Heists.

War on Drugs

As early as 2009, BITAG has been declaring war on drugs operations across the Philippines. We worked with the law enforcement agencies – PDEA, NBI and PNP. 

Though we were busy with numerous drug operations, people kept coming to the BITAG Action Center. They complained about the grave and excessive negligence, abuses and the rampant red tape in the government. People want quick justice.

From then on, we became advocates and even became a crusader for the faceless and the voiceless in society.

Pinoy US Cops: A Documentary

BITAG Team started to study and observe the law enforcement operations in Northern America, United States. BITAG then produced this documentary entitled “PINOY US Cops.”

BITAG Team worked with the police in Daly City, South San Francisco, Vallejo, The Gang Task Force, Detectives and a lot more.

BITAG Moved to Timog

From our headquarters in Tandang Sora, BITAG moved to Timog Avenue in Quezon City  to stand toe-to-toe with the giants in the media industry.

Small people, the faceless, voiceless and the underprivileged in the society keep coming to our office for a quick justice.
