CEBU CITY — On October 2, broadcaster Ben Tulfo visited the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) to discuss support for small businesses. A strong advocate for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), Tulfo shared his vision for helping small entrepreneurs, especially those new to business or facing challenges.

Tulfo urged the Chamber to amplify its voice for “nano” entrepreneurs and to make it easier for small businesses to grow. He praised CCCI’s efforts in supporting local businesses and recommended using media to raise their visibility. He also called on the government to simplify taxes and improve public services for entrepreneurs.
Tulfo also encouraged the chamber to utilize all media platforms in getting the proper exposures that will help businessmen.
CCCI leaders shared their ongoing projects, like promoting tourism, lowering energy costs, and supporting solo mothers and small business owners. They also discussed ideas for MSME trade shows and an SME showroom.
